Sports Medicine - CHS
Pathway Overview
This pathway will provide students with the opportunity to learn about the professions and contect of Sports Medicine. Topics include aspects of tissue healing and pain, orthopedic injuries, illness, and injury recognition, emergency preparedness, and a thorough knowledge of the muscle and skeletal systems.
Career Outlook
Employment of athletic trainers is projected to grow 14% from 2022-2032, much faster than the average for all occupations, with a median annual wage of $53,840, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (bls.gov).
